Re: Free Newsservers

Thanks Sander.

Any chance of the ordered layout version?

Plus can you add weathergirl-ipv6.tele2.net on to the list?

Re: Free Newsservers

FREE SERVERS :   http://www.appelboor.com/newsserver.txt (port 119) Thanks to Sander for writing a script to check server statuses. Since this web site is dead (or it always seems to be) and the other address given (http://www.appelboor.com:8888/report.html) is just as useless now. Any chance someo...

Re: Gadget-Like Windows GUI...

Okay thanks. Edit: Found out the problem. It was because of the install directory name change in the install file. I assumed when I ran the install it would overwrite the old one but it didn't. (I said no to installing shortcuts because I already had them.) It installed it into folder SABMan instead...

Re: Gadget-Like Windows GUI...

Done! You can download and install over the existing version. I don't see the tick option in the settings for clearing history? Are you sure you uploaded the new revision to you web site? PS. Even though I am not into RC planes, I liked the vids of your flights and the experimental planes. They loo...

No it is auto assigned to you but it is a derivative of your email address you sign up with. Same with your password, however it looks like it is totally randomly generated from numbers and letters.

Ah, huh! I was wondering why my history was clearing! A check option is a good idea, thanks for putting that in.

Re: Free Newsservers

What country do you select if yours (e.g. UK) is not listed? Does it matter? I selected Netherlands even though I am from Australia, and I only chose that one because it is at the top of the list. Is SSL on a different port? From the confirmation email you get... Port(s): 119, 80, 563(SSL), 443(SSL)

Re: Free Newsservers

i'm using test:test Well blow me down! That works! You're a star mck! Interesting. During that down time it had a while ago they must have changed the server authorisation to just that combo. Because before you could have typed anything for the username and password (as long as it was 6 characters ...

Re: Free Newsservers

works fine for me RE: test.news-service.com Hmmm... This is very strange. Before I used a made up username and password of more than six characters long, and this used to work. Now it comes up with "username and password incorrect." I've heard from others no username and password should b...

Re: Free Newsservers

I've created a separate "SABnzbd and built-in IPv6 (teredo/miredo)" Excellent idea, since we have moved away from the thread's topic a bit. And to help with that... anyone able to connect to test.news-service.com at all? The newsserver status report on appelboor.com says it is available w...

Sorry about the language, I'm Australian. We say stuff like that but not to offend. Anyway, this is what I get: The test page: Your IPv4 address on the public Internet appears to be 116.240.***.** No IPv6 address detected Querying Teredo on my system: Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7601] Copyright (...

Introducing: SABMon Checking it out... I agree with rascalli, not in downward length because of the number of items, but width ways. I'd like to be able change how wide the "app" displays, so we can properly read the NZBs that are downloading. I know you did this width to keep that gadget...

Re: Free Newsservers

No, I am not wrong... Sorry to say, but I agree with Gigahertz21 on this. You cannot access IPv6 addresses unless your ISP has that functionality, no matter if Windows Vista/7 is capable or not (which I know it is). Myself, I have: Windows 7 x64 with MS Security Essentials installed. No other virus...
