Re: Nas4Free 9.1.0.1 and Sabnzbd 0.7.x
So: 0.0.0.0 (meaning: listen to LAN) does not work 127.0.0.1 (meaning: only listen to requests from local device) does work, and SAB is running. On computer OSes this can be caused by a firewall. So: is there a firewall running on your NAS? Or there might be something wrong with name resolving. It's...

Re: Nas4Free 9.1.0.1 and Sabnzbd 0.7.x
What if you replace "-s 0.0.0.0:8080" with
"-s 0.0.0.0:9876"
or (if that does not work either)
"-s 127.0.0.1:9876"
"-s 0.0.0.0:9876"
or (if that does not work either)
"-s 127.0.0.1:9876"

Re: Nas4Free 9.1.0.1 and Sabnzbd 0.7.x
If you don't tell what the response from your NAS4Free system is, it's like shooting in the dark, and then asking why you don't hit anything ...
So: post the sequence of all commands and the system's response.
PS: I have no experience with NAS4Free.

Re: Looking up missing parts
First: in SABnzbd, go to Status, then Logging, and setting logging to "+Info" (or +Debug).
Then download, and find the line in the file sabnzbd.log (via Show Logging, or on your harddisk)

Re: Can't start sabnzbdplus - error
Shy, what is the mechanism that causes this nuisance to block sab from starting? Unrelated error like in the other thread? It may be trying to show the Panic page in the browser. On my headless, non-GUI Ubuntu server, forcing a panic page while logged on with SSH, I get links starting up. That is d...

Re: Need help migrating from Windows to Ubuntu
It is a learning curve, especially because your ZOTAC has light-weight hardware and because it has no CD-drive. The first milestone is this: are you able to create a bootable USB-stick and boot the ZOTAC from it. If you have questions with that, http://ubuntuforums.org/ is the best place. If you can...
