Re: host file ? newzbin.com current ip blacklisted
Ah, interesting, and first thing you should check: On your Windows, you can access http://www.newzbin.com/ , right? Can you also access https://www.newzbin.com/ (so: via https)? If not, that's the cause: SABnzbd seems to do a HTTPS lookup (I had a quick look at the source code: if SSL is available o...

Re: host file ? newzbin.com current ip blacklisted
I checked with Python (which SABnzbd runs in) on my Linux, and changing the /etc/hosts works: >>> import socket >>> from pprint import pprint >>> pprint(socket.getaddrinfo('www.newzbin.com', 80)) [(2, 1, 6, '', ('85.112.165.75', 80)), (2, 2, 17, '', ('85.112.165.75', 80)), (2, 3, 0, '', ('85.112.165...

Re: host file ? newzbin.com current ip blacklisted
Thanks for the replys but i think my op has been miss understood, or not clear enough to what i am asking or trying to do. newzbin.com has been blocked by BT and SKY at the moment here in the UK and it will only be a matter of time before it happens to more ISP's in the uk, so its a waste of time c...

Re: host file ? newzbin.com current ip blacklisted
Solution: get an ISP that does not block newzbin or, get a VPN server outside the UK, and route all your traffic (including SAB's) over that VPN. Im not 100% sure how to get a VPN server never mind set one up, but this would have to be done at router level wouldnt it? if i was to use a synology box...

Re: host file ? newzbin.com current ip blacklisted
newzbin.com is now banned on some isp here in the uk, so the only real useful way around this is by changing the host file on your windows pc to point the domain to a different IP address, however i've noticed sabnzbd doesnt seem to use this at all, so my client cant connect to newzbin.com website....

Re: Queue Not Showing Downloads
Did you manage to sort this? I' have the same nas (320) just installed 0.6.14, getting the same prob. It's defo not a browser thing, I've tried accessing it on the laptop, pc and iPad and it's the same. Looking at the sabnzbd log it seems to a pointing to a locale.py error with the queue template, ...

Is this the format you meant:
http://toverdoos.waardenburg.net/newsserver.html
If so: it's now running on the new website, once per hour at ten minutes before the whole hour (so: x:50).

Re: nzbair port forward problems...but port is open?
So, if you use the URL http://99.107.197.44:8081/api?mode=qstatus&output=xml&apikey=blablablabla12345 : do you get this error message: <result> <status>False</status> <error>Missing authentication</error> </result> If so, what happens when you full out the correct APIkey? that's what i get ...

Re: nzbair port forward problems...but port is open?
So you know your own IP address and the external port SAB should be listening to? Have you asked a friend to access that URL from his/her Internet-connection? Does he/she get the SABnzbd webinterface? If you want, I can do that check too. Yes let me know an OK, and your port (if other than 8080) ye...

Re: Free Newsservers
Ah okay, thanks Sander. Also, I thought this script was to check free news servers? Or has that changed? Because as far as I can tell news.casema.nl , news.kpn.nl , news.lightningusenet.com , and nova.planet.nl you cannot access for free in any way. Or am I missing something? Edit: Just noticed ano...

Better layout: that is jquery based. I have to dive into that how that works and which files are needed.Vyp3R wrote:Thanks Sander.
Any chance of the ordered layout version?
Plus can you add weathergirl-ipv6.tele2.net on to the list?
weathergirl-ipv6.tele2.net is now in the list.

FREE SERVERS : http://www.appelboor.com/newsserver.txt (port 119) Thanks to Sander for writing a script to check server statuses. Since this web site is dead (or it always seems to be) and the other address given (http://www.appelboor.com:8888/report.html) is just as useless now. Any chance someo...

Re: SABnzbd and built-in IPv6 (teredo/miredo)
C:\Users\flat>nslookup newszilla6.xs4all.nl DNS request timed out. timeout was 2 seconds. Serveur : UnKnown Address: 2001:470:92ee::53 That IPv6 address belongs to HURRICANE-IPV6. So you must have installed the n6tunnel (or other external IPv6 tunnel), and not just unzipped as you said. And it's me...
