Re: Sabnzbd for Android based HD Player
Thomas, The box you refer to has 512 MB RAM ... SABnzbd likes more memory than that. Apart from the memory: SABnzbd runs on Python. So first step is to have Python on Android. There is alpha software called SL4A for Android, which can run python. As SL4A is even not in the Android Market, it doesn't...

Re: Odd Error 1073741819
I thought of that too, but these are the same post processing scripts I used before upgrading to the latest sabnzbd. Seems strange that they worked before 100's of times, but now they intermittently don't. It is the intermittent part that really has me confused. Anyway, maybe I'll add some delays i...

Re: Odd Error 1073741819
I would say that is not SABnzbd, but a post-processing causing troubles. So if you disable the post-processing scripts, the problem is gone. Or, better: solve the problem in the post-processing script itself.

Can you post a screendump when the error occurs?JPW wrote:Sorry, I should have mentioned that. I notice it intermittently in SAB's webgui.

Re: Twitter support
Oh, hahaha, I understand your concern. But still I would say twitter is not a SAB-core thing, so it's ideally solved in a postprocessing script. That way you avoid bloatware ánd confusion for new users. But: I'm not a SAB developer, so that's not my call. BTW: *why* does a (newbie) person want to po...

Re: Twitter support
So you're not on Linux? What then: Windows or Mac OSX? I don't understand your remark about post processing. Anyway: assuming you have Windows, check out PTF.Tweet (http://code.google.com/p/prtg-addons/wiki/PTF_Custom_Notifications). It's easy to send a tweet directly from the CLI / batch file: Unpa...

Have you search the forum on keyword 'twitter'? A few days ago there one was someone who posted a twitter-script.

Re: Ubuntu Repository version 0.5.0 ?
Yes, you're missing the last line of your quote: you do have an older Ubuntu version, haven't you? So if you want the recent SAB, use jcfp's PPA. Check out https://launchpad.net/~jcfp/+archive/ppa EDIT: This overview will show the version of the SABnzbd package per Ubuntu version: http://packages.ub...

Re: Cannot Get Shell Scripts To Run In Fedora Core 14
I think you're mixing things up; the log file does not show how the arguments are passed; it's just python syntax. So, to see that your script is run by SABnzbd, change it something like: #!/bin/sh date >> /tmp/hello.$$ echo $1 >> /tmp/hello.$$ (assuming the temp-dir is called /tmp) Then see what ap...

Re: Cannot Get Shell Scripts To Run In Fedora Core 14
Spaces in shell arguments / variables: I find that so difficult that I never do it. Maybe http://mywiki.wooledge.org/Quotes helps?
BTW:
if [ $1 = *XBOX360* ];
I don't think that does want you want. But, once again, I don't understand anything of shell arguments.

Easy solution: get a newsserver account that allows account sharing, for example Eweka. Problem solved.
