That seems to be a bug specific to your iPad or the IMBb app. It does work on my iPad 2 3G with the latest IMDb app, when I look up Battleship from Qouch.

Make sure you have the port right, as it should work. A timeout often indicates a wrong port or IP. The default port for SSL in SABnzbd is 9090 I believe. Also make sure you're running the latest available version, as that is the one I'm always developing against.
