Just a quick update, Initial issue was on OSX, however just tested it on Windows with the growl options, same issue.
If I check all the growl notification options and hit save, they all become sticky, as in I can't ever uncheck them without shutting down sab and editing the ini directly.

Difficulty saving notification options in 0.8a1
Hi, I wanted to disable the startup/shutdown notifications for Notification Center, unchecked the option, hit save, restarted sab. Notifications still showed up. Went back to the config page, the option was still checked. Unchecked it again, hit save and reloaded the page, back to being checked. Som...

0.8a1 on Windows with config file from OSX
I had created this config on 0.7.x on OSX and had copied it over to my Windows box, to avoid having to re-configure everything. Under 0.7.x in Windows, it's been working perfectly fine as is, with the Macintosh line endings and all. However the 0.8a1 upgrade process refused to take it in until I ope...

Re: Rename +Delete post-processing option
I know exactly what's happening behind the scenes, since I'm a long time Usenet user and I've done many completely manual post-processing operations. It's the downside of abstracting everything and doing everything transparently for the user, since, they don't understand what went wrong when it does...

Re: Slow unpacking after upgrading to OS X 10.9
Did it occur to anyone using a NAS that bypassing this whole issue by running sab directly on the NAS might be the better way to fix this? Assuming SABnzbd is available for the NAS and works with an acceptable performance. But given the right conditions, it would solve the problem. Of course :) The...

Re: Recent versions of sab break job portability
I like using pre-check, it guarantees the download will work, and with 10 connections to both eu and us servers on both unlimited and block fill server, it's actually very fast since it spins up 40 connections, and goes through all articles very quickly. I assume you won't be fixing it in 0.7.x and ...

That way there's no network transfer during extraction or copy, it's all local to sab running on the NAS.

Re: Recent versions of sab break job portability
Sorry for the late late late reply. So I ran the test again in 0.7.20 on OSX 10.9.5 and I seem to have found that it only occurs when you enable "Check before download". From I gather in the logs, it seems to end up trying to wipe the entire "__ADMIN__" folder after the check com...

Rename +Delete post-processing option
Hi Shypike, I was wondering if it would be possible to rename the "+Delete" post-processing option to "+Delete Source". The current name causes many users to overreact thinking sab would actually go ahead and delete what it had just downloaded, source and all, and then proceed to...

0.7.20 doesn't display job title in notification center
It seems sabnzbd 0.7.20 on OSX Mavericks doesn't display job names in notification center notifications.
I just see notifications for:
NZB added to queue
Post-processing
Download Completed
All of which do not have the job name in the notification, just an empty space.

Recent versions of sab break job portability
Hi, In the past, I was able to pause a job, shutdown sab, move the job folder to sab's temp folder on another computer. Then status, queue repair and click add. The other instance of sab would then resume exactly where the previous one left off and finish the job. However 0.7.18 does not, upon impor...

Re: Have an option to make the cleanup process non-recursive
Sure, you can pretty much implement anything in a PP script and I have already done so for quite a few operations.sander wrote:is a post-processing script an option for you?
However, it would be silly to re-invent the wheel when it simply needs a slightly different tire.

Have an option to make the cleanup process non-recursive
Hi, I was wondering if it would be possible to add an option(special or otherwise) to change the cleanup process behaviour which uses the "Cleanup List" so it becomes non-recursive, that way it would only apply to the root of the destination folder and not any sub-folders below it. Thanks!

Re: Force Download All Feeds Now
I don't thing that would be very useful. There is a function to read all feeds. Forcing is only needed for newly defined feeds. Hi shypike, "Read all feeds" is great, but it will not immediately trigger matched downloads. Sab will still wait till it's expected RSS refresh time for it to m...

Force Download All Feeds Now
Hi, I was wondering if it would be possible to add a button on "http://localhost:8080/config/rss" Next to "Read All Feeds Now" that would trigger a "Force Download" for all feeds. It could be called something like "Force Download All Feeds Now". I was also try...
