No worries, just glad you spotted the error. Look forward to the fix soon.shypike wrote:Thanks.
It's a problem with all UNC paths.
Just bad testing, sorry for the inconvenience, thanks for the report!

It's set to:shypike wrote:In that case, something is wrong in SABnzbd itself.
Both the forward slash at the front and the back are suspect.
Back to the drawing board.
Should you be using Sort for this download, can you post your Sort expression?

Re: Unpacking failed, an expected file was not unpacked
It's not unrar, there's some sort of bug. SABnzbd passes this as one the parameters: /MARGE\\TV\\...... Obviously that should be: \\MARGE\\TV\\..... How did you set the destination in Config->Categories or TVSort? Just checking :) There were some changes associated with full paths like this, so I c...

Re: Unpacking failed, an expected file was not unpacked
"unknown option". Damned lack of backward compatibility. (And lack of testing on my side). Sorry but change: 2014-10-15 13:52:37,571::DEBUG::[newsunpack:573] Running unrar ['D:\\Program Files\\SABnzbd\\win\\unrar\\UnRAR.exe', 'e', '-idp', '-o-', '-or', '-ai', '-p-', 'D:\\Program Files\\SA...

Re: Valid RARs not unpacking
Alas, your debug log doesn't give me new information, except for the fact that there's nothing special to see. You say that 19RC makes all unpacking fail. Fail in which way? One important difference is that 19RC2 contains unrar 5.11 https://forums.sabnzbd.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=12878&p=967...

Re: Valid RARs not unpacking
I have looked at your examples. They're nothing special, except for one thing: the names are very long. It could be that they just exceed the maximum possible path length in Windows (at unrar time). When unrar start truncating file names, then SABnzbd will guess wrong. Can you email me also a Debug...

That's ok, I appreciate the hard work you guys put in. Just let me know if you need anything further from me.shypike wrote:I'm sorry, I didn't have time to process your examples.
I will before 0.7.19 final.

Re: Unpacking failed, an expected file was not unpacked
Sort of hoped that 0.7.19RC2 would resolve the issue, but I just got: 2014-10-12 18:36:10,424::INFO::[newsunpack:212] Unrar starting on D:\Program Files\SABnzbd\downloads\incomplete\Doctor.Who.2005.S08E08.Mummy.On.The.Orient.Express.1080p.WEB-DL.DD5.1.H.264-ECI 2014-10-12 18:36:10,424::DEBUG::[newsu...

Re: Unpacking failed, an expected file was not unpacked
Yes, I have the last 3 nzb files that failed in this way. Where can I put them?shypike wrote:It can make a difference when the name contains illegal characters.
Possibly SABnzbd and unrar treat them differently.
Do you have an example NZB that shows this behaviour.
Personally I have never come across one.

Re: Unpacking failed, an expected file was not unpacked
I think this is the same issue I reported here: http://forums.sabnzbd.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=18106 only on Windows. I've tried everything to figure out why it thinks the extracted file doesn't exist when it does (as I can see the final file in the temporary "UNPACKED" folder). It's no...

Re: Valid RARs not unpacking
I just had two more releases do exactly the same, which is strange as I had downloaded around 10 other releases without incident. I looked on the _UNPACK folder left behind after the failure (on the remote share), and for both the files SABnzbd stated were not unpacked were sitting there in the corr...

Re: Valid RARs not unpacking
It's a log file, as you don't provide attachment upload and it's too big for Pastebin, I had to use Google Drivesander wrote:Apart from the fact that I can't open that last link, I'm not sure what you want to show/proof, nor how I can help you.

Maybe I missed where it didn't work, but I can't find it. I've left it to show the batch command executed in case maybe I transposed them incorrectly from how SABnzbd perform the unrar.
