Re: Blank SABnzbd.ini file (Backup blank too)
I think there's a permissions problem, Sabnzbd is unable to write to the location where sabnzbd.ini is stored. Did you possibly recently upgraded Windows 10? It messes with permissions. I think you should best make a backup of your sabnzbd config directory (including the admin folder etc), remove th...

Re: speed limit changes
Try setting it to 8 connections, at 8 connections there's a different way Sab handles the connections.
But actually it should work best with a lot of connections, like 30 or 50.

Re: speed limit changes
How many connections do you have set for your servers?
There have been some changes in 1.1.0 regarding the handling of connections.

Re: Sabnzbd Error After Layout Color Scheme Change
Support for the Classic skin has been removed, so you can't use it anymore. You need to switch to one of the other ones provided with Sabnzbd: Plush, smpl or Glitter. Where Glitter is the only skin under active development. You can bypass the interface to go directly to config by using the URL Host:...

Re: Error on startup
Let's try one thing first, generate new certificates (assuming you use the ones provided with sabnzbd?) Shutdown sabnzbd. Go to sabnzbd admin directory by pressing WindowsKey+R and entering %userprofile%\AppData\Local\sabnzbd\admin There delete the server.cert. How start sabnzbd again, it should mak...

Re: Process Packing Failure?
You should run the par program on the first par2, you say when you do this it doesn't fix the names?
It should tell you it has found all the files and needs to do some restoring, not just sfv/nfo. Try another par2 file in the folder.

Re: Weird error when when accessing via GUI
The file interface.py is from an older version of Sabnzbd, somehow maybe a cached version is used? Or they didn't update it correctly in the build? But then other users would report problems.

Re: Process Packing Failure?
I think the best thing you can do is manually use the par2 tool, there must be one available for MAC with a user interface? This should fix and rename the files so you can unpack them. Maybe you set this particular download to only "Download" instead of "+Delete" (so it also does...

Re: Download performance issue when using 1.1.0 over VPN
Can you check your CPU usage when on VPN? Also, it makes almost no sense to use VPN for Usenet. Just use SSL to your newsserver and your provider has no way to track what you're downloading. Externals/provider can only see that you connect to your newsserver's IP-address, but what can it possibly do...

Re: Browser native login prompt option?
You can now also seleft in the option 'External access' to only require login for external users. You should then define what local ip's start with.
If you really want basic Auth back, that's possible by turning off html_login in Config > Specials.

Re: How to pass file name of unrared media to batch?
It shouldn't run before par and unrar, you sure about that? Indeed only passes the folder, so you'll have to use that in your script to see what the output was. For example with python or cmd script you can list files with a specific extension in that directory and go from there. Or after you get th...

Re: External internet access
If you still want to connect and see the interface, you'll need everything available. Just choose a good password and non default port for the outside world (assuming you want to access it away from home network).
