Re: Upgrade 0.5.x to 0.6.12 in Debian squeeze?

Probably easier to add the Ubuntu PPA repository. See http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/install-ubuntu-repo and/or https://launchpad.net/~jcfp/+archive/ppa

Important: your queue should be empty during the upgrade.

And how about http://127.0.0.1:8085/ ? First check with IE, then with Opera.

Re: SABnzbd and built-in IPv6 (teredo/miredo)

No, it's not running. So manually start it with "miredo -f" (as root!) If that works, you have to find out how to start miredo as a daemon. On Ubuntu "sudo /etc/init.d/miredo start", but I don't on Arch. Mabye a system restart is enough? EDIT: PS https://wiki.archlinux.org/index....

Re: SABnzbd and built-in IPv6 (teredo/miredo)

To check if miredo is running: "ps -ef | grep -i miredo".

If it is NOT running, as root: "miredo -f" to run miredo in the foreground

Re: SABnzbd and built-in IPv6 (teredo/miredo)

I've got a laptop running Debian Squeeze and as soon as I installed miredo I could instantly access IPv6 networks. But I've also got a small box running Arch Linux and SABnzbd where miredo apparently is not working, at least not working 100% properly. I installed miredo but I still can't browse IPv...

Re: [0.6.12] config->switches help link br0ken

I tested 0.6.13 (0.6.11 and 0.6.12 do not exist anymore), and I can NOT reproduce this.

(Ubuntu, plush)

EDIT:

Ah: the *HELP* link on that page ... OK, I can confirm that.

Atom CPU? Treedt de tragere download soms op zodra SAB aan de slag gaat met par/rar?

Re: Strange Permission Denied errors when starting

I would do this:

Open a terminal, type 'sabnzbdplus' <ENTER>, see what happens, and post the output here.

Re: NNTP 502 not leading to SAB 10 min back-off?

Checking the code, I see that this situation is covered. SABnzbd actually says "Probable account sharing", which indicates that the recognition works. It will do a 10 minute timeout. But only when the server has been flagged as "optional". Maybe that's not so appropriate here, b...

Re: Growl for Ubuntu ("gol")

I remember something about universal growl support planned for 0.7. See also https://github.com/sabnzbd/sabnzbd/commit/5643b5682f90af5f53e3e6ae6e90e5d3322e8fc7 I did a "git clone -b develop git://github.com/sabnzbd/sabnzbd.git" to sab070, run it , and ... I have popups. But wait ... doubl...

Growl for Ubuntu ("gol")

Hi, As SABnzbd seems to have Growl support, I installed growl for linux ("gol") on my Ubuntu (see http://mattn.github.com/growl-for-linux/ for source). See below how. Install: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mattn/growl-for-linux sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mattn/gntp-send sudo apt-get update ...

NNTP 502 not leading to SAB 10 min back-off?

It this correct behaviour by SAB? Or is Eweka sending the wrong NNTP code 502? The number of SAB's connections for newsreader3.eweka.nl is set to 1. However, I do get a lot of Warnings by SABnzbd (see below). When I do a manual NNTP to eweka, I get a 502 message (see below too). With login-problems,...

Re: Is Sabnzbd adding up download amounts correctly?

Think again: the start of the week rarely coincides with the start of the month. So on Dec 1, the current week was already 3 days going (assuming the week starts on Monday). So SAB measures in *calendar* weeks and months? And that's because an ISP does that too (if it the ISP measures traffic at al...
