Re: Private newsnet group/index?
Most non-raw-mode indexers already do what you want, by filtering out password-protected stuff. The vast majority of scummy stuff on usenet is password protected, and bundled with a "keygen" that is supposed to give you the password to the rar set that turns out to be malware. When you con...

Re: Want to completely uninstall
Amahi is pretty cool, it just gives you a nice clean web interface, and you still have access to the entire system. The Amahi app store is just a really simple one click web interface. At the end of the day, you're still paying for f/oss apps, and the developers of said apps are getting nothing. Wh...

Re: Want to completely uninstall
BTW: what is Amahai? And did you really pay for SABnzbd via the Amahai App Store? If so, don't you thinkg *they* should give you support? Amahi is a Linux-based media server deal like Windows Media Center. . . but for some insane reason they have an app store with specific "Amahi-compatible&qu...

Re: Help Renaming/Sorting TV Shows
Don't do any renaming or folder-sorting with SABnzbd. Leave all that to Sickbeard. When you do the moving for Sickbeard it can get confused about what happened.

Re: So now I still have to manually extract them and remove
I know I could just import each episode in a separate nzb and have no problem, but sometimes this isn't always available or preferred. This is how SABnzbd is intended to be used. We feel NZBs should be as small as possible, representing one completed file. The vast majority of performance-related c...

Re: news server
The only free alternatives we know of are listed in that thread, but please keep in mind that they are notoriously unreliable and typically have incredibly short retention times, so you will likely be very disappointed. Also, closing your thread. If you have further questions about free servers, ask...

Re: Native Android Application
I started a new thread in "Feature Requests" asking to have that implemented into SABNzbd. Dunno if it'll get through though. I appreciate your enthusiasm. You've probably noticed by now that you got enthusiasm from one of the right people. If I had the app I'd be able to test the QR Code...

Got it implemented, it'll be available on our dev branch soon. (For Plush, at least)

Re: QR Code for API Key
Well, SABNzbd doesnt have to encode the api key itself and generate an image. Couldn't an external source do this? For example: http://qrcode.kaywa.com/code/thisisatest Just replace "thisisatest" with the SABNzbd api key and you've got the api key in a QR code form. Here is some more info...

Re: Native Android Application
I'd be happy to test this as well. Also: Use QR scanner to input API key for SABNzbd profile This is brilliant and I can't believe no one else has thought of this until now. It would be pretty damn easy to add a pop-up generate-QR-Code link next to API Key / NZB Key in the SABnzbd config UI, and doi...

Re: PayPal withheld funds
To further clarify, SABnzbd does not sell anything through 2checkout, nor do we sell anything at all. You likely paid for usenet service, and need to take it up with whoever you really signed up with.

Re: Everything fails
I contacted Giganews about it. They first told me to change the ports. When I told them I already tried that they replied which the following email Why are you bothering to ask us about it? Giganews clearly stated they don't have the articles due to a DMCA complaint, so there's certainly nothing we...
