Re: Failing to connect to sever
I am getting this message now: # Connections: Failed to connect: (10060, "(10060, 'Operation timed out')") 45@ssl.astraweb.com: ### (SSL port number) I might be wrong, but I think the "45" means that thread 45 is getting the time-out. If so, I guess there are 44 other threads. T...

Re: Systeem vraagt wachtwoord

Re: Zeroconf (Bonjour/Avahi) support for HTTP
Update: The most recent version is on https://github.com/paulsm/pyzeroconf I was able to run the included zeroconf.py without problems, but my zeroconf browser (avahi-discover) did not see the Bonjour service it registered. Furthermore the author said his last activity on the code was in 2009. So I ...

Re: Froze - timed out
I still don't understand where the froze / time-out happens.
Anyway: next time you have this problem, make sure to make a screenshot.
PS: you can get the uptodate SABnzbd via https://launchpad.net/~jcfp/+archive/ppa and via http://sabnzbd.org/download/ ("Python Source")

Re: Froze - timed out
which connection is timed out? In your webbrowser, or the newsserver connection, or ... ?
Why can't you restart SABnzbd?
Why are you running such an old SABnzbd version (0.5.0)?
Can you post a screenshot of the time out?

Re: sabnzbd slows down my connection when I download
I was wondering if anyone knew the reason why my internet connection drops to nothing (in terms of speed), while my download speed is hitting 6.3MB/s. I have a 50MB(DL)/10MB(UL) via Comcast Business, and this just recently happened with the release of 0.6.8, but I am using 0.6.9 now. Because SABnzb...

Re: Free Newsservers
Hi! I'm using weathergirl-read.tele2.net (no username/password, max 4 connections). Don't know if they keep it up, but it's no speed limit and about 20 days retention. Works pretty well for some extra speed together with a pay server. Edit: ipv6 only, for ipv4 you need to be a Tele2 customer, there...

Re: Zeroconf (Bonjour/Avahi) support for HTTP
Interesting. I did some test runs, with various results. See below. The source and the website seems to have little documentation. I'll mail the author of the software for help. PS: the bad news: in 2007 (!!!) someone is asking if the project is still maintained, with no response from the maintainer...

Re: SABnzbd+ blijft in rust???
(ik neem aan dat er wel dingen in de download-queue staan)
Staat de Pause-button (rechtsboven) aan? Of de pauze per download?
Als ik klikt op Test Server (in http://localhost:8080/config/server/), wat zegt SABnzbd dan?

Re: [Categories] Using hidden folder prints error
The problem is the location of the (hidden) directory: /usr/bin is a place for binaries (=programs), not for data (even not pr0n), so probably SAB / you don't have write-rights there.
So, if you want to solve this, choose a normal directory where you / SAB has writing rights.

For the record: can you post the ' .../unrar | head ' of both unrar's here in this thread?evilweasil wrote:All fixed....
It turned out I had /usr/local/bin/rar which it defaulted to rather than /usr/bin/unrar (strange when /local/ comes afterwards in $PATH. Removed it, and all good :-)

What if you retrieve that URL with your webbrowser (on the same computer SAB's running on)?
