Re: Movie renaming based upon imdb

Does anyone know of any python code that can extract any meta data from imdb? I am currently using tagchimp, which often is lacking, and would prefer to use imdb as a source. Oh, and there is a metax version for windows now: http://www.danhinsley.com/MetaX.htm I am a mac user, so I can't vouch for it.

Sounds like the script would need only minor adjustments to work with sabnzbd

Re: SABNzbd GUI for iPhone

LOVING it :) Couple of request (if I ever get time to learn some iphone programming I can do them myself): *size in newzbin window split into (encoded + recovery) *progress data in newzbin window (ie finished, in progress, etc) *being able to set speed and pause sabnzbd *view history (once part of a...

Re: history items in jumbled order

alright, thanks. I have obscured the titles and re-added the image so others can see what I mean.

It's definitely not a biggy, just figured I would throw it into the mix! :)

history items in jumbled order

Hey, Been downloading most of a tv show, and I have a postprocessing script to run on all tv shows that takes about an hour to an hour and a half per episode (ie episodes are downloading faster then the post processing can keep up, so they are queueing for postprocessing). These episodes were downlo...

Re: Help running Popcorn Hour update script

does this script take any input, like the path to a folder, or path to the file to add? Or perhaps you navigate to the folder, and then run it from there?
Or perhaps you just run it, and it has a base folder and does a recursive search from there?

Re: Autodownload script

...  translates it somehow to a semicolon when creating the queue item... This is actually a feature that was recently added to Sabnzbd, so don't blame the script :) The best way to solve this is probably for the author of the script to edit it so that it converts the titles itself before comparing...

Re: user scripts and exit status

I read somewhere that the post processing scripts should return an exit code, so I put a lot of work into returning a unique integer depending on what error occurred, only to find out that nothing is done with this integer. I would like sabnzbd to show an error if anything else then 0 is returned, p...

Re: Automating File Movement

... I have entered: /volumes/hammer/TV   under the "FOLDERS" setting. ... As far as I can tell, you have two options to fix this: a. Change the setting under "folders" to: /volumes/hammer     This means that all the movies you download will go to /Volumes/hammer/Movies, TV shows...

Re: User script parameter request - Full path of TV file

One of the advantages of passing just a folder, is that sabnzbd does not have to make any assumptions regarding which of the multiple files in the resulting directory is the one that you want passed as a parameter. Yes, if you are downloading a tv show, then it is usually the avi/mp4/m4v/mkv file yo...

Re: User script parameter request - Full path of TV file

I have not checked, but my scripts seem to work fine, and I am pretty sure they would choke if they DIDN'T get a full path. Are you sure they are passed a relative path?

SABnzbd-0.4.5 RC1 - ionice error on OSX

I got the following error after updating to 0.4.5 RC1

Code: Select all

2008-10-26 22:03:24,182
ERROR
ionice binary... NOT found!
I did read in the changes that this has been done to improve something related to the linux build, so this might not be unexpected. Sorry if I just wasted someone's time :)

Re: List of Free Newsservers

in my limited experience, you will struggle to download 30gigs. I tried for about 2 weeks to use an assortment of free newsservers, and I ended up downloading roughly 5gigs. I had a constant queue of items, it was just the servers were either: a. unreliable (ie more down then up) b. have speed caps ...
