Re: Need Help Extra Files

This is something that the uploader did.
You could maybe try Config > Switches > Cleanup List if they have a different extensions that you could filter on?

Re: Simple way to enable/disable autostart

It shouldn't use more than 1% when idle, or even less. Maybe it was a temporary glitch.

Re: Unpacking Details

Direct Unpack starts the unacking to the Complete Folder while the download is still active, so you might already see files appear there while it downloads still.

Re: Download speed drops to KB/s

whitlee: your problem is completly different than saintnick. His problem is regarding running SABnzbd on the NAS and not on the desktop machine. It is also not version related but more likely to be network I/O related. Have you tried what happens when you download with your Complete folder locally? ...

Re: 9/10 downloads fail with corrupt rar file....

Tell us more about your setup. What OS are you on? How did you install unrar and par2? It seems maybe 1 of those is not doing its thing. Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window, this way after a download fails again you can inspect "par2 output" and "unrar output" to see wh...

And then also update to 2.3.4 ;)

Maybe Direct Unpack is also having an effect?

Re: Download speed drops to KB/s

Still waiting for anyone to test these 2 versions.
Maybe try nzbget, sabnzbd wil never be able to do Gigabit speeds on a NAS.

De optie die jij graag wilt bestaat helaas niet in SABnzbd.

Re: Pas automatisch opschonen nadat volledige wachtrij is gedownload?

Re: /rss?mode=history not being filled anymore

It has been removed in some release of 2.3.x, just can't find which one. It's in the release notes.
It was removed because maintaining it properly was getting a hassle, while almost all tools nowadays will use JSON. Maybe you can use that?

Re: Not releasing memory when job is finished

What did you set for Article cache? People run Sab with 256mb of memory, so 4GB should be plenty. You shouldn't be getting memory errors at all. Try 700M. And the memory graph is deceptive, Python will release the memory as soon as the OS asks for it. Now it just keeps some prefetched stuff in there...

Re: 101% download?

Ha, this is a nice edge case. There is no main .par2 file (only vol00+01) and so it messes up the calculation.
Let me see what I can do.

Re: Jobs 100% Finished (but not finishing) and strange behavior

No that didn't do it, just coincidence. It has to do with some occurrence of events when servers fail and cause a Retry loop of the failed articles. The cache up and down is just a file being assembled while it downloads and then written to disk. These corner cases when something goes wrong with art...
