Re: Wizard not appearing after reinstall
Find sabnzbd.ini (probably in ~/.sabnzbd/sabnzbd.ini ) and find the first line that says "port". What does that line say?

Re: can't connect to SABnzbd on unraid
unRaid is a NAS, somewhere on your LAN? And it's name is 'tower'? And you can reach http://tower:8080/ , which gives you 'unMENU'? And SABnzbd is running on that machine? If so, then port 8080 is already taken, and SABnzbd is running on it? You can try http://tower:8085/ and https://tower:9090/ If t...

Re: Parse Variables to php and run php script
So you want a script to converts the name of the downloaded file into a PHP source file?
Can you give the PHP format source page, and point where you want the SAB-download variables? See http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/user-scripts for the variables that are available.

Re: Parse Variables to php and run php script
Do you mean on the server side or on the client of PHP?
And do you mean the variable from the download job?
Server side: yes, a (SAB) script can write anything, so also a PHP source page.
Client side: can you parse the variables into an URL to that PHP page as input? So, is it a GET, and not a POST?

Re: Sabnzbd+ randomly quitting on Arch Linux
You could first try Ubuntu.brad0383 wrote:That was a good idea. I ran memtest86, no errors. I hate to say, but I may have to try the "Micro$oft" fix and format the drive and start over.sander wrote:Have you already run memtest86 for a few hours to see if your memory is 100% OK?

Re: Sabnzbd+ randomly quitting on OSX
It's not robust on your system. It is stable on the system of most other users. Which only means that it is just about impossible to hunt down such an issue. Its not impossible, it is difficult, but there is certainly a way to write software that is more robust for situations like these without hun...

Re: Sabnzbd takes twice the time than reported (and expected
Yes, SABnzbd continuously reports the speed: see my post http://forums.sabnzbd.org/viewtopic.php ... 407#p56051
So: check your sabnzbd.log for 'bps'. You can put it into a spreadsheet to get totals and graphs.

What if you point to browser to http://127.0.0.1:8080/sabnzbd and/or http://localhost:8080/sabnzbd I receive an "unable to connect" message on both options Do you use a firewall on your PC? If so, can you turn it off temporarily and try again? Do you use a proxy in your webbrowser? I gues...

You have a /etc/sabnzbd/ directory on your system? Have you created that yourselves?

In that overview: click on Config, then General. At "Web Interface"-dropdown, select Plush. Then SAVe at the bottom (and restart SAB?)

On Windows: Open a CMD-box: type CMD<ENTER> in the start/find-box In that CMD-box: go to C: CD into the directory containing sabnzbd-console.exe (probably C:\Program Files\SABnzbd or C:\Program Files (86)\SABnzbd) then type sabnzbd-console.exe<ENTER> Wait what happens, and post the output here in th...

Re: Cannot create temp file for /etc/sabnzbd.conf.tmp
You must be running SABnzbd 0.6.10, right? SAB 0.6.10 creates "sabnzbd.ini.bak", probably in the directory containing sabnzbd.ini. I guess your sabnzbd.ini is in /etc/ ? However, your SAB wants to create a .tmp file. Strange. First try: can you create /etc/sabnzbd.ini.bak with 666 rights? ...

Re: First run opens my browser to an error page?
Argh!... I'm afraid that SABnzd doesn't appear in my start menu in 'safe mode' or any other mode. It's not there at all. I uninstalled and reinstalled it but got the same results. I also tried to run all the exe's in the installed directory but got nothing but dos boxes that disappeared almost inst...
