Re: install par2cmdline-turbo on Truenas Core 13.0-U6.1
can it be installed in a jail without breaking the existing sabnzbd package? I don't know anything about jails. But I assume it does NOT check CRC values of binaries? So then you should be OK Furthermore: the SABnzbd package on Linux does NOT include par2. So par is always a separate binary, which ...

Re: install par2cmdline-turbo on Truenas Core 13.0-U6.1
OK, VM. So a full Linux VM, and then SABnzbd inside that?
I suppose you can logon to that Linux VM?
If so, it should be easy: see https://sabnzbd.org/wiki/installation/par2cmdline-turbo
On my Ubuntu Linux:

Re: 4.2.1 Crash every time I try to add an nzb file
Really a crash? Or just not working ... ?
Do this:
Stop SABnzbd
Open a CMD, and go to the Program Files containining sabnzbd-console.exe
Run sabnzbd-console.exe
Do your thing in the webinterface
If it "crashes", go back to the CMD interface and post the output here.

Re: HELP--OSError: [Errno 5] I/O error [Unraid]
Ok, it looks like it's a permissions issue. I can't create a new folder in the /mnt/user/data/usenet directory for completed downloads. I can't find a good guide on changing permissions. Well, your error is "Failed making (/data/usenet/temp/Chicago.Fire.S12E03.1080p.x265-ELiTE)", so /data...

Re: Download speeds went from slow to slower
You keep jumping from there to there. That is - at least: for me - not a way to solve a problem. Maybe it's OK for others ... you'll see.
Good luck. And welcome to my block list!

Mbps? I don't think so. See my first post: bits versus bytes.thelittleluca wrote: ↑January 31st, 2024, 12:34 pm
Sab is downloading at a rate of 11Mbps, if that is your question.
We're talking in circles. So I can't help you any further.

Re: SABCTools fails with no attribute 'bytearray_malloc'
OK. I'm asking because python module can be difficult. Plus you have other errors in your sabnzbd.log ... not good. "module 'sabctools' has no attribute 'bytearray_malloc'". My guess: you still have an old sabctools which does not have that function. So ... do the below on your debian and ...

Re: Download speeds went from slow to slower
I completely gave up on the truenas server instance. Nothing I did was working and nobody was actually willing to help me with it so I just switched over to Windows. Clever decision. Also my experience in this forum and reddit: always problems with Truenas and Unraid, and never solutions. fast.com ...
