Re: Date Sorting using the provide %desc variable does not work as expected
descriptions are currently only supported on newzbin, or any nzb file where it is separated out using something - description.ext. This is because otherwise there would be too many false positives. Still it should remove %desc from the actual output, so will have to investigate why that is not happe...

Re: Bug in API reference
I am pretty sure it is still relative to the location of the ini (which by default is inside the home directory)

Re: Unofficial Google Chrome Extension
Yes, I noticed that the other day; should probably put a warning on the settings page about this. It is not a bug with my extension, but a limitation of Chrome and their support of self signed SSL certificates.

Re: What is wrong with this RSS feed? I don't understand.
Before I removed it, I tried passing the URL through feedparser and it seemed fine. Not sure why it is having a problem.

Re: What is wrong with this RSS feed? I don't understand.
Please santise your links in the future. You also had your newzbin fauth token in the URL which is something you don't want to be sharing with others.

Re: Pause/Resume Button not indicating previous status before Shutdown/Restart
This is a tricky issue really. I would much prefer someone accidentally be downloading, than go to their complete folder expecting content, then find their queue was paused all along. If you must start with sabnzbd paused all the time pass it the command line parameter --pause I guess we will have t...

Just to note, as of 0.5.0 the username and password is not required. Only the apikey is required for authenticating with the API

Re: Adding SOCKS support for SAB
Socket connections occur in newswrapper.py
Be aware there is also a wrapper for SSL connections, I'm not sure how nice the SocksiPy wrapper will play with the SSL wrapper.
If you need any more guidance I can usually be found on IRC http://sabnzbd.org/live-chat

Re: Unable to start 0.5.0, no problems with 0.4.9
I think shypike was referring to the post above. @Mar10e , try the following: Open up command prompt (start > run > cmd) If Vista 64bit enter the following: C:\Program Files (x86)\SABnzbd\SABnzbd-console.exe > c:\output.txt otherwise enter: C:\Program Files\SABnzbd\SABnzbd-console.exe > c:\output.tx...

Re: Add http file server into SABnzbd where you can download delete completed files
I did create one, however it was decided it wasn't of use to the majority of users so was not included. Had divx streaming and mp3 playlist support.
It may someday surface as a plugin.
