Re: Help required "untrusted certificate"
Recent versions of the QNAP packages now work from the Master branch, which is safe. Well, they did but now appears we're being switched to 'develop' . Maybe Clinton can look into this. Mine now shows as "develop [unknown]" but used to show "1.1.x" Had to disable verification ma...

[SOLVED] indexer / group tags?
I'm seeking a way to get SABnzbd to automatically sort items provided by my custom-built RSS feed. Up until now, I've used many filters on the incoming RSS feed page in SABnzbd to configure each item based upon a text match of its title. One of my feeds has 184 filter rules at present. ::) As I now ...

Re: RSS feed layout compatible with SABnzbd...
I only started coding this on Wednesday so it's got a way to go yet: it reads a feed (live from website or from a local file), checks the size of each item (newznab:attr 'size'), if the title has particular words then grab it, if it is smaller than 700MB or larger than 15GB then ignore it. create XM...

RSS feed layout compatible with SABnzbd...
Hello, This question is probably best answered by a SABnzbd developer-type person. :D Due to the imminent demise of Yahoo Pipes , I've decided to code my own feed aggregator. This will run locally and act as a middle-man between my usenet indexer and my local copy of SABnzbd. I'm hoping that a minim...

downloads with insufficient par2 files used for renaming...
Not a Sab problem, but more Usenet in general. Does anyone know how to deal with these downloads that are (for example) a whole season of a TV show, where you get lots of files named: 152043-0.2.30 152043-0.2.31 152043-0.2.32 152043-0.2.33 152043-0.3 152043-0.3.0 152043-0.3.1 Typically, when I've ha...

Re: [RESOLVED] ssl_error_no_cypher_overlap
"just when you thought it was safe to restart your NAS..." erm... so, I restarted my NAS... and went back to square one... same fault as before... unable to login to Sab using HTTPS. So I thought I should add what I found next in case someone else sees the same thing. I started looking at...

Re: ssl_error_no_cypher_overlap
Hi all, Managed to fix this. I did this by deleting the server.cert and server.key files in Config/admin/ suspecting that the fault was with them. (Odd because SickBeard used the same certificate file(s) and established a HTTPS connection correctly.) They have now been recreated and HTTPS works prop...

Re: ssl_error_no_cypher_overlap
As I have previously explained, I have not been able to enter 0.0.0.0 as a listening host as I am not presented with a HTTP interface (hence, no wizard). Perhaps you missed that bit.
Can this be done by editing files directly instead?

Re: ssl_error_no_cypher_overlap
perhaps I misunderstood your request... Make sure SAB is accessible from other systems, make sure HTTPS is running and try it from your webbrowser. You asked me to check accessibility from other systems - yet I have mentioned that the port that is used to access the Sab server is closed - therefore,...

Re: ssl_error_no_cypher_overlap
My understanding from the QNAP forum is that Sab runs inside a wrapper but essentially runs as it normally would, upgrades apply correctly, and all that jazz. However, I don't know what goes on behind-the-scenes here to determine what the wrapper configures in the NAS (firewalls and such). I suspec...

Re: ssl_error_no_cypher_overlap
I couldn't get any access to Sab via the browser. So I haven't been through the wizard config. My checks were only using HTTP.
