Hi all,

Anybody is experiencing that all downloads are failing with SabNZBd? It started about two weeks ago. Tried the same files with NZBin and GetNZB all coming in 100%.

Speed is another thing, also here with SabNZBd slow, not even half of my connection. With luck I get 1 or 2 MB/sec. With the other two apps, the speed maxed out: +/- 10MB/sec.

I've tried possibilities mentioned on the web but no result.

Anyone an idea?


I'm working on a Mac, btw.

Can you try deleting your sabnzbd and sabnzbd settings completely (you can see the settings file location on first page of Config). And then reinstall fresh.
It seems something got wrong with the settings.
And make sure to use sabnzbd 1.2.0.

Tried it, still errors and very low speed.

Ok, I've installed version 1.0.3 and I'm downloading with an average of 7-8MB/s!!

What were you using before? 1.2.0?

Yes, I was using 1.2.0 before.
The speed, I've recently changed usenet provider to Newshosting. Here I can get my connection to max out on speed.

Only the issue of erroneous downloads I'm still investigating if it's the usenet provider, my VPN (NordVPN) or just DMCA / NOTD take-downs.

Aaah a VPN.. That explains.
We build safeguards in 1.2.0 to make sure it doesn't slowdown on a VPN, but seems not to be working..

Haha Ok.. And I suppose it's not possible to deactivate this meanwhile you're working on this?

Try setting the number of connections to 8, does that help?

I've tried this already. Newshosting has 30 sim.conn. I've tried with 5, 7, 8, 10, 15, 20, 30, 25, 23... Same results actually. I can't get speed higher than the 2 occasionally 3 MB/s.

I'm using also NZBVortex, NZBin and NZBGet, all these give me an acceptable speed of 6-9MB/s, depends a little time of day.
