DL speed on Android app vs Windows app

Hi. I am new to this forum.

I'm currently running Sabnzbd on my Asus NAS. It has limited RAM and CPU. Only 500MB RAM. Are these limitations going to affect my dl speed? I'm not running any scripts to limit CPU load. Despite this, I am getting big variations in dl speed. It starts out quite good, around 7 MB/s. Then it falls to around 1-3 MB/s. At the end it is under 1 MB/s. If the total dl seize exceeds 70-80 gigs, the download will not always succeed.

Will installing Sabnzbd on my win 10 machine help dl speed? I have Giganews Diamond subscription. The dl speed doesn't increase if I try to run more than 4 connections either.

I have looked at the network activity window from my NAS. I now notice there is a pattern. It seems like the download starts slow for each new file or something. Can it be linked to reading/writing from cache memory?

Yes, limited RAM and certainly CPU will limit download speed.
So try out on your Win10 system

That got things going. Maxed out the line at 34 MB/s with 16 connections. Thanks!
