script/program to extract/rename existing rar'd tv shows?

Post by bleomycin »

Hello everyone, i have a large library of TV shows all with different naming schemes S1x2, s01e01, etc. Each episode is generally in its own folder which Sick Beard seems to ignore so i would like to extract each episode to the root season folder. Also have a variety of season folder names, S01, Season.1, Season 1. Does anyone know of an existing bash or python script, perhaps something else to crawl through this mess and attempt to extract all of the archives and move them out of their individual episode folders? I've looked through the post-processing section and while theres a lot of useful scripts in there for managing incoming media but i haven't found anything to clean up a neglected library. Thanks for any help!

You will be able to do this with release 0.6.0 (with a bit of trickery).
First Alpha expected in about a month or two.
