Don't know if it happens to other people but when a link is on the bottom of the post and you mouse your mouse over it the whole thing starts shaking. Looks like the problem is in the hover of the link, because suddenly a border appears, if you make it so that it always has a border but normally the border-color  is the same as the background the problem would be solved, I think.

example:

uasdjasd asd das d asd asd s das d d a d as dsa da sd das d da da da da da da da da ad d addaddadasdaixidddsadddddddadsdas[iurl=http://dsddlink]dsdidlink[/iurl]

I added a screenshot (animated gif) so you can see what happens, don't mind the colours somewhere between screen/screencapture/avi-gif-converter it got real ugly.

The gif gives an impression but actually it happens 4 times faster!

As I can't seem to get the screenshot in a decent size I uploaded it (600kB avi file).

I know the bug you're talking about. It's on my list of stuff to work on, just not incredibly high on the list.

Heads-up: I just installed some new security stuff on the server, which might result in difficulties posting bug reports. If you experience problems posting things PLEASE contact me via pm or whatever.

Newzbin.com Invites « 1 2 ... 29 30.....and growing

Post by Eejit »

The Newzbin invites thread is getting rather large.  It's difficult to find the next request in the list.
Would it be possible to have something along the lines of the NZBMatrix request system?
It would make invites easier.  Probably not possible, just a thought.

BTW, my thanks to inpheaux for the forum and all developers of SABnzbd.

Well, there wouldn't be anything technically stopping me from making an invite trading system, but I'm not sure if Newzbin would want us to make it a fully automated matchmaking system, as it would sorta make the whole invite system irrelevant.

In an effort to clean things up a bit, I'm considering deleting the current thread at the end of the year and starting a new one for 2009, and possibly making it so you have to be a registered user to see the thread, so there's less of a concern of spammers harvesting the thread for e-mails.

I agree with both proposals: new thread and a members-only board.
Name the board "Invitations" in the General section so that it's not newzbin-only.
Better delete the old invitation thread too.

Yeah, makes sense I suppose.
I know I've only been here a short while myself, but I believe in giving back,
although most requests seem to be coming in through Google searches for invites and not SABnzbd itself.
