Good: you have IPv6 connectivity to the outside world.

Too bad your DNS does not understand IPv6 / AAAA address resolving. (I have a solution for you later on)

Fill out "2001:888:0:18::119" as the server name and address. So including the ::119 at the end. It's the numerical value of newszilla6.xs4all.nl

im looking for ipv6 website (see http://sixy.ch/ )
and referenced site in ipv6 are working here.

but in software (they cant reach/find ipv6)

14:55:17 Unable to connect / authenticate server: 2001:888:0:18::119 @ 2001:888:0:18::119 (connect: Winsock Resolve Host: Cannot convert host address '2001:888:0:18::119' - No Data (#11004)).

but thank's for your help ;)

(do you know other way to connect to ipv6 like 6tunnelNT ?)
create link from ipv4 to go on ipv6...

thank's mate

Your IPv6 is OK, but your name resolving is not. That is the problem of your modem/router or ISP. If you fill out 8.8.8.8 as your (primary) nameserver on your Windows machine, I expect things to work (with hostnames).
Using 6tunnelNT won't solve the name resolving problem

I tried filling out the numerical address 2001:888:0:18::119 in SABnzbd on Windows XP on Virtualbox, and that works for me. So I cannot reproduce the Winsock error message. You could try putting [ ] around the address and then try again, but that's a long shot.

About your namesolver problem: can you open a CMD-box, and type the nslookup commands below? Post the output here.

Code: Select all

C:\>nslookup newszilla6.xs4all.nl 8.8.8.8
Server: google-public-dns-a.google.com
Address: 8.8.8.8

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: newszilla.ipv6.xs4all.nl

Code: Select all

C:\>nslookup newszilla6.xs4all.nl

OK, that's good: using a capable nameserver (8.8.8.8), your system *can* do IPv6 lookups.

And how about the nslookup without 8.8.8.8?

That IPv6 address belongs to HURRICANE-IPV6. So you must have installed the n6tunnel (or other external IPv6 tunnel), and not just unzipped as you said. And it's messing up your DNS-lookups.
My advice: de-install it. And then check if you can "nslookup newszilla6.xs4all.nl"

Teredo config fine, performance not

Hi!

Teredo used to work fine for me (using Windows XP SP3), downloads were at high speed.
For the last few months, somehow, performance went down to almost nothing.

Any idea how to troubleshoot this?
Teredo state is 'qualified', but when pinging, results vary:

Code: Select all

C:\Program Files\ipv6\Teredo>ping6 reader.IPv6.xsnews.nl
