2.3.2 RC2 article cache set to 25% wasting memory

I am running SABnzbd on a Windows 10 32 bits PC with 4GB memory that I use as a home server. It runs, besides SABnzbd, also other applications. I had 256 MB assigned as article cache which was a balance between memory available for the article cache and the system and other applications. Getting now almost 1 GB assigned to article cache without a way to change it, is not what I would prefer. I would prefer to keep a little more available for other applications. So would it not be possible to put the setting option for the article cache back, maybe in the Special configuration page?

You can still manually set to it whatever setting you would like.
Just check the Advanced settings button.
Only if you set 200M or 450M the automatic detection takes over. But if you had set anything else, it will not be overwritten. At least it shouldn't be..

I just checked and indeed any custom value will be retained.
Also, the cache most probably will rarely be used. Unless your CPU is very much under-powered.
It's mostly for the newer downloads which have RAR files of 400MB each, which would cause unnecessary slowdown.

Thanks for the reply. I found the Advanced settings button and indeed my old value was still present.
