@zoggy: oh that's not good.. With the setting to 0 it should have the same speeds since the optimization should be disabled.
I was afraid of this, as Python 3.9 is slower than Python 3.8 in Python developers own benchmarks. Might be worth to make a build with Python 3.8 just to see the difference..
