Hi,
The sorting based on the priority of the selected category does not work in the classic dark blue skin. The download stays at the same place in the download queue if a category with a high or low priority is selected. If you directly set the priority in the queue page then the download moves correctly up or down in the queue.

Confirmed, will be fixed in next Beta.
Re: Category based priority sorting with the classic - darkblue skin in 050 beta 4
Just a heads-up: I don't think this is fixed in RC3.
At least, I'm still experiencing it.
I have my Episode Butler passing episodes as category "tv-new", which has a priority of "high" in sabnzbd.
On new downloads from EB, they get assigned the category, but not the priority.

How about if you just upload the nzb file setting the category to tv-new? Sounds like it could be an EB bug.

I'll give it a try and report back.
Re: Category based priority sorting with the classic - darkblue skin in 050 beta 4
Okay, so:
First, if I select the category manually, it does set the priority correctly.
If that's the case, where does the breakdown lie? If EB is setting the category, what would cause SABnzbd to not pick the correct priority for it?
Also (and I don't know that this should be here, but...), I was under the impression that if I had a watched nzb folder with subfolders, and put an nzb in a subfolder, it would take its category name from the subfolder.
That is:
NZB Files (watched folder)
|--> TV
|--> Movies
|--> Apps
If I put an NZB file in, say, "\NZB Files\Movies", should it assign the category "Movies" to that download, or am I misunderstanding? (I was trying to test the category/priority assignment this way, to try and track down the problem).

Re: Category based priority sorting with the classic - darkblue skin in 050 beta 4
If an external utility adds a priority parameter to its API call,
the category priority will be ignored.
Subfolders of the watched folder that match a category name,
will add that category to the NZB.
There's no futher nesting: watched_folder->TV->NTSC
will ignore everything inside the NTSC folder.
