new install and sent HTTP request to an HTTPS server

Post by jwhitt12 »

I am running with ubuntu 20.04.3
I am installing from the directions at: https://sabnzbd.org/wiki/installation/i ... buntu-repo

I just installed sabnzbdplus. Everytime I open it get "Client sent an HTTP request to an HTTPS server" I have searched for a solution. tried a couple and have installed something like 8 times and nothing seemed to work. This happens in firefox. I checked if firefox didn't like https but it had no problem with them. I also just re-installed ubuntu 20.04 This is mysterious and I have a problem.

Thoughts?

It sounds like you're trying to access SAB on its secure port. What port number are you using for your browser connection?
Stuff I like: Apache bash cron DD-WRT Debian DNSMasq Entware FireFox GitHub ImageMagick Kate KDE LibreELEC Netrunner NFS NVIDIA OpenVPN Orvibo-S20 pfSense Python Raspberry-Pi RAID SABnzbd Transmission Usenet VirtualBox Watcher3 XFCE

I just thought I would try it again, on 8080, and it ran and is working! There is no rhyme or reason on this it simply happened!
