Advice for Debian 7 n00b

Post by nicheplayer »

I've been looking over the forums and am hoping to distill the current best practice for installing sabnzbd on a remote server running Debian 7. I've noticed the author of the following blog posting here lately so am hoping his(?) instructions are current:

http://www.htpcguides.com/install-sabnz ... ian-linux/
http://www.htpcguides.com/install-par2- ... ntu-linux/

I'm just hoping to identify common pitfalls before I make a run at these installs.

Thanks!
