missing mobile skin?

Post by sufr3ak »

I noticed that there is no more mobile skin. How can I install one? When I try via apt-get, it removes SAB completely and just installs the skin

Mobile is removed like classic because of its limitations (see release log of 1.0.0).
The new Glitter skin is dynamically resizable and is separately optimized for use on mobile, tablet and desktop.

Give it a try ;)

As safihre said, sab 1.0.0+ no longer comes with the Mobile skin.

In addition, the sabnzbdplus package starting with version 1.0.2 includes all interface themes as part of the main package. The former sabnzbdplus-theme-* packages no longer exist and are automatically removed on upgrade (i.e. when you started using the ppa). A side effect of that transition to a single binary package is that any attempt to install one of the old theme packages leads to the removal of the recent (v. 1.0.2+) sabnzbdplus package. So... just don't do that.
