Is there any indication of when the ppa will be updated to 0.6.5?
or alternatively any idea which files to update from the source archive to update 0.6.4 to 0.6.5?

JCFP (maintainer of the bleeding-edge PPA) is on vacation right now, so updates might take awhile. If you really want to run bleeding edge stuff, install bzr and do a checkout from launchpad:

Code: Select all

bzr co lp:sabnzbd/0.6.x

Just download our tarbal from sourceforge and unpack it somewhere.
Then run ./SABnzbd.py
The presence of the current PPA will make sure that you have all prerequisites.
