Why is it when I'm trying to download a Xbox game it gets right to the end then say out of retention. But it's only 100 days old I have 1000 days. But videos are sometimes 500+ days and they download fine?

As you may have heard, quite some illegal material is uploaded to Usenet.
The copyright owners can (and often will) send take-down requests to Usenet providers,
who subsequently comply.
The more well-known a Usenet provider is, the more requests he will attract.

Two examples, top one is from Astraweb, the bottom one is from a Dutch provider.

That's a bad habit, they should just remove the articles altogether.
Not completely sure what SABnzbd does with them, likely flag them as "missing".
Can you email an NZB that has such articles?
[email protected] (please add URL of this post).

The NZB I emailed is a small PAR2 file consisting of 13 articles.
1,3,4,7,10,11,12,13 - were not removed from Astraweb.
2,5,6,8,9 - were removed and replaced with text articles.

1 binary
2 text
3 binary
4 binary
5 text
6 text
7 binary
8 text
9 text
10 binary
11 binary
12 binary
13 binary

SABnzbd ignores the articles are registers them as missing.
However, I did find that treatment isn't completely correct.
When you have multiple servers, all servers should be tried (if you have "fail on CRC" on).
Currently that doesn't happen.
I'll fix that in release 0.7.1
In a later release I'll look at providing the user with more information.

I have an old version of SABnzbd, 0.4-something. Backup server not tried, the text articles are cached, and the string 'Content removed due to DMCA.' is assembled into the corrupted binary file.

Current versions reject the article.

Release 0.7.2 will correctly ignore these articles during pre-check and download.
Release 0.8.0 will do something more useful with the info.
