Has precheck changed somehow?

Post by semel »

It does perform very slow. Even on new files on Aw it checks at 1KB (!)

it used to do it at 10-15+ KB

In comparison newsbin pro checking is performed (HEAD method, 15 connections active) at 200+KB

nzb download checker(STAT) (10 active) does it fast too

The speed indicator he as little meaning during pre-check.
What matters is how log it takes.
The actual speed is completely determined by how fast the
server says whether or not it has an article.
Many take more time for unknown than for known articles.
