Job Paused "Encrypted RAR"
After updating to the latest version (on windows 7 x64) I keep getting errors like this: WARNING:: Paused job "Workaholics.S03E01.720p.BluRay.x264-DEMAND" because of encrypted RAR file. Had these errors on some downloads but not all, however none of the downloads are encrypted, it pauses the download but after a while completes it. Yet i still get these error messages?

The encryption detection is normally off, so you must have enabled it in Config-> Switches.
The detection is not perfect, otherwise it would not be useful (full download would be needed).
A paused job should not be resumed, unless you tell it to.
You can disable the option if you rarely encounter encrypted posts.

I assume I should set "Action when encrypted RAR is downloaded" to off?
Some of the paused jobs did resume and finish, but i still got the encrypted rar warning, others I had to manually tell SAB to finish downloading, but none of the downloads had passwords. Sent an email with one of the NZB's that was paused.

The encryption detection triggers on the little RAR file that contains subtitling.
It exhibits the typical encrypted post characteristics, namely a RAR file in a RAR file with similar names.
That's a very weird way to post.
Changing this would reduce the value of encryption detection a lot.

So the subtitle RAR is the problem? Bit annoying since I don't even want the subtitle files but thanks for explaining the cause

I am seeing the same thing on several downloads now. They were all 98% finished before detecting and 1 of the 10 went through fine. I unpaused the remaining 9 which had been flagged and they went through fine.

Same problem.
There's a fool posting stuff that has all the characteristics of cloaked encrypted posts.
I can try to tweak the detection a bit, but posters simply shouldn't do this.

Ok thanks. I will just keep an eye on them. These are the first false detections I have seen so it doesn't seem to be a huge issue.
