Downloaded movies don't show in history

Post by sagishwartz »

Hi
I don't know what happened but Downloaded movies don't show in history.
The problem is only in movies (CP), when I use SB or manual download from site it's ok. and again movies are being downloaded buy I don't see them in history.

In addition I don't see any info/error in log about it
What to do?

Thanks

Do they ever appear in the download queue?

CP automatically removes failed downloads from history, to make sure no half downloaded movies fill the harddrive.

Movies exists in queue and as I said in my subject, it's downloaded movies, meaning they are exists in my relevant folder after CP had rename them to the relevant name.

Amy idea now?
Thanks

Like Safihre said, CP should remove the remnants of failed jobs.
If it doesn't do that, there is something not quite right in its settings.

I don't understand. The movie was downloaded successfully. What failed job are you talking about?

I'm confusing two different topics.
What Safihre meant to say is that when CoachPotato sees that
SABnzbd cannot complete a download, it (CP) will remove that job from SABnzbd's history.
That may be the reason that you do see the jobs in the download queue
but not in the History list.
CoachPotato should find an alternative NZB for that download and try again,
but sometimes there is no alternative.

But he also says that the movies were actually successful, so that's the weird part.

There is however an option in CP under Downloads (turn on Advanced settings!) and then SABnzbd:
"Remove the NZB from history after it completed."
Did you maybe turned that on?

Help please. I like to keep my history of downloaded NZB's. In Sabnzbd, not sure how, but recently, after the download completed, it pops up the status of the download in the history (whether it was successful or not), then removes that entry from the history queue automatically within seconds.I don't know why as I have not changed any settings and my current history is intact with many NZB downloads listed. In the entries below, Safihre says to go to "CP" but i am not sure what "CP" is. I have gone through all the settings and can't find anywhere where it gives the option to remove the NZB history after it completes.
If someone can point me in the right direction, it would be appreciated.
Thanks

CP = couchpotato, in its (advanced!) settings it will have an option to remove complete jobs from history.
Sonarr and other software also have this option under advanced settings.

Thank you for the reply. So i don't use CP. My question was on sabnzb program which i use to get nzb's. My history log shows all nzb's downloaded until a certain date about 2 months ago. Since then, everything i download, regardless if it is successful or not, shows up in history for a few seconds right after the download is completed, then it is removed from history. When i go to settings under folders, everything seems to be ok as far as history path with admin & log folders. I can't seem to see any other options for stopping the removal of the download. Any ideas why my entries are not saving in the history file/folder?
Thanks

Maybe your database got corrupted (although I would have expected a warning), you can go into your admin path and delete the history1.db file. Shutdown SABnzbd first though!
