Can no longer connect.

Post by Naudiz »

Hi, I've been using sab for ages now and never had a problem, even when changing my provider but in the last 24 hours it's just stopped refusing to connect.

I used it about 24 hours ago fine but then my scheduled stuff over night didn't download and when I tried to manually start them again it did nothing. When I test the server I get this message:

Code: Select all

2016-11-23 18:36:17,119::INFO::[newswrapper:265] Failed to connect: (10060, '[Errno 10013] An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions') [email protected]:563
I took that directly from the log. I haven't changed any settings between it working and not working. My provider is supernews, I'm using sonarr to search and feed sab.

Version: 1.1.1 [33a7874]
OS: Windows 10
Install-type: Windows Installer
Skin (if applicable): Glitter - Default
Firewall Software: Norton Internet Security
Are you using IPV6? No

Thanks in advance for any help.

Did you Google '[Errno 10013] An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions' ?

I didn't but I did some digging around and for some reason Norton had stopped block all traffic from sab. Never asked me or anything just did it on it's own. Now I've set it to always allow and it's working again.
