I actually don't know that SABNZBD is doing this, or if it's my Synology NAS, OSX or a combination of all 3.
I've searched over the forums but haven't stumbled on anything that relates to my problem.
Basically every once in awhile I'll get an error when trying to download something saying that the volume doesn't exist so it can't save.
I'll go into my folder options to select my NAS and see it with multiple iterated names such as " download" "download-1" "download-2" "download-3"
Then i have to pick a new location for the folders which are usually the highest iterated number. When I try to select the original folder name it shows that the folder is empty.
When i'm viewing the NAS on my OS it isn't renamed, only when i'm viewing it / browsing and selecting folders through SABNZBD.
Any advice is much appreciated.
Thanks!

Re: SABNZBD iterates and renames NAS
For some reason the operating system sometimes tells SABnzbd that "download" is missing.
SABnzbd will create a new one, which the NAS or the OS will automatically rename.
For SABnzbd all folders are equal, with one exception: it will not create sub folders in /Volumes.

Re: SABNZBD iterates and renames NAS
Okay thanks. So doesn't really seem to be any solution for this?

We don't know the underlying cause.
