A way to record your highest download speed?
Is there a way to have SAB record your highest download speed? Possibly a script to put it into a log file some place? There is no real use for this other than I think it is nifty to see just how fast you can download files.
Re: A way to record your highest download speed?
In sabnzbd.log check the lines with 'bps'
Re: A way to record your highest download speed?
Although for that you need to have logging set to +Debug, which in turn slows down download.
A better solution (I think) is first: make sure you have SABnzbd 2.0.0, then make sure you use the Glitter skin, then go in the interface to Status and Interface settings > Web interface and there you can select 'Speed' as 'Extra history column'.

I have the extra history column turned on. I just wasn't sure how accurate that was because I got this for one of my downloads:safihre wrote:Although for that you need to have logging set to +Debug, which in turn slows down download.

Theoretically this is possible as I'm on a 10gb network but I wasn't sure if the math in sab might be off.

If you doubt it, measure with a stopwatch the time between the download start and stop, and divide the Mbytes downloaded by the seconds measured ...kangfat wrote:

Re: A way to record your highest download speed?
It is exactly that I doubt it, it's more of my mind being blown that it is possible to download that fast. That and I'm inherently skeptical of everything.
