Since having just been forced to update W10 to Creators Update (version 1703, build 15063.413), when I try and open an NZB from a website, I now get this popup "A website wants to open web content using this program on your computer".
Is this a nuance of new/more restrictive CU IE settings, and can the Sabnzbd installer be made to override this behavior in future?

I also use the same version if Win 10 and don't have this problem, nor did anyone else report it.

Re: Creators Update and Protected Mode
I guess to fix this we would have to sign our executable, something I'm not really aware of how this would work and of its worth the effort.
Have you enabled some extra security settings?

I'll try the re-install route, etc later tonight and report back with any findings/progress.

Re: Creators Update and Protected Mode
Uninstall/logout/login/reinstall did not succeed. Same issue.
Luckily the Band-Aid solution of checking the box "do not show me the warning for this program again" works. For now.
It creates THIS reg entry, which seems to mute it going forward:
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Low Rights\ElevationPolicy\{607F9EC0-791B-4589-B79D-7A25735A3A65}

Re: Creators Update and Protected Mode
I'll keep my eye on another machine when the Creators Update time comes, and see how that behaves...
