Date Sorting Priorities

I am having an issue with sorting daily shows in sabnzbd.
The episodes which I download are processed via series sorting rather than date sorting. The filename is arranged as the title, followed by the date, then file descriptors. Within the filename given to SAB is the "H.264" descriptor, following the episode date.
The series sorting picks up on this and assumes that I am downloading series 2, episode 64 which I am not.
I have date sorting switched on and have the "tv" category selected for both series and date sorting. I have tried changing the date sorting category to "Default" too but to no avail.
Is there any way to either prioritise the date sorting over series sorting, or to turn off the 101 style episode number detection?
