You cannot.
Plush is not getting any new features for a long time already and we do not want to support it any longer.
We will not just remove Plush, but we want everybody on Glitter.

If you are missing features of Plush in Glitter, then open a topic to request the features :)

Glitter SUCKS! Read the forums. If you want everyone on it, get it functional for everybody. Glitter lacks everything that users love about plush.

Instead of ranting, why not actually say what you are missing from Plush?

The only thing that users have reported missing is the ability to see all columns.

So, no things we can improve..? Just ranting instead of contributing to this completely free software that you use?

Correction; "Nagware" that I use. Yes, columns are missing, as is an intuitive interface. I get that you want to "optimize" the interface, so why can't you "optimize" Plush? And... here's a novel idea - Why not develop an interface that allows user preference of skins instead of pretending that you want users to "try" the new skin when, in reality, your intent is to force users to use a single skin. At that point, we can't really call it a skin, now can we? We just have to call it THE skin... or Your (but not necessarily the users) preferred skin.

So, yes, i am ranting. In a world where user choice is status quo, you want to force a predetermined interface. That, in and of itself, is not a bad thing. However, most devs would spend some time creating an interface that met the USERS needs and preferences instead of forcing their own down users throats.

So that's MY recommendation; start with what users want and need. THEN design and optimize.

Go ahead and use other software if this free software that we work on in our free time for no profit at all, annoys you too much.
Good bye.

For those who like the plush interface (like me...) and like to disable the notice...
Dont nag the developers but solve it yourself:

Its hard coded in the file _inc_header.tmpl inside the plush template folder

Comment out the line containing:

Code: Select all

          &sdot; <a href="${path}config/general#web_dir">#echo $T('useGlitter').split('.')[0]#.</a>
Like so:

Code: Select all

          <!--&sdot; <a href="${path}config/general#web_dir">#echo $T('useGlitter').split('.')[0]#.</a>-->
Problem solved
