Downloaded File Date

Hi,

I have been having issues with the downloaded file modified date not showing the date in which is was downloaded to my system (I understand this is normal)

I am using Sabnzb 2.3.1 on my QNAP NAS with Radarr. Radarr sends the file to Sabnzb to download, and I would like the modified date of the file to be the date in which it was downloaded, as my Kodi has a 'recently added' section which looks at the modifed date.

From researching, everyone says 'Ignore_Unrar_dates' is what I need, but I have tried both with this selected and unselected (restarting each time) and this hasnt had any impact.

Has anyone else ran into this and managed to work it out?

Thank you.

What date are you getting now? The one from inside the archive? Even with Ignore Unrar Dates turned on?

That is correct - it might be me doing something totally wrong - as I'm not that familiar with this software - but I checked Ignore Unrar Dates and restarted sabznzb, and the file just downloaded shows as being from 2016.

However, I have found a workaround. Kodi has an option for 'recently added movies' to be based on when they were added to the library, rather than the modified date of the files.

This should be all good now., thank you for your help

It could be that the unrar version running on the NAS doesn't support the "-tsm-" option we use to ignore the embedded dates.
