New server help

Get help with all aspects of SABnzbd
Forum rules
Help us help you:
  • Are you using the latest stable version of SABnzbd? Downloads page.
  • Tell us what system you run SABnzbd on.
  • Adhere to the forum rules.
  • Do you experience problems during downloading?
    Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
    Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
    We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings.
  • Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
    Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

New server help

Hey looking for a new server to run sab sick etc. Also to have Plex as my main video player transcoding to my tv,iPhone and trebles was looking at a qnap and wondering if anyone can help thanks

Third-parties maintain SABnzbd packages for several NAS type servers.
You should checkout the community forum for such a NAS to see whether the package is any good and whether it's updated regularly.
I'm not sure which ones have a proper package.

sorry for the late reply still looking and the one that has my eye is the qnap TVS-473. just wondering if there is 3rd party addon and to make sure it runs plex and sab ok

To install SABnzbd, use the sherpa shell-script.

I'm unable to advise on plex. You could try asking on the QNAP and Unofficial forums.
