Re: what is the api key ?
I don't think sabnzbd will ask for the key, but other programs that interact with sabnzbd do.
It allows automatic download systems to send downloads to sabnzbd and then process them.
Are you maybe using Sonarr, Radarr or CouchPotato?

Re: what is the api key ?
Some "security suites" like to probe each local service they see.
If you don't have your SABnzbd instance connected to the internet, you can disable the warning.

Re: what is the api key ?
I lost my Ubuntu media server system and had to move Sonarr, Plex, and SabnzbD to my Ubuntu desktop. Sonarr installed ok and I can see my Sonarr media folders. I have installed sabnzbd from the Ubuntu SNAP store and have got as far as the config page. I do not recall my API key, so I would like to generate a new one.
Would someone PLEASE document how this is done for SABnszbd? All the docs I have found assume I already have an API key, and then whine at me when I can't enter one.

Re: what is the api key ?
Go to Config and then the General page. It shows the API key.
