Browser problems in OSX High Sierra after latest update

Post by Mackapoen »

Hello.
since the latest update of OSX High Sierra Ik can't get my browser Safari to show the SABnzb page. There is a message displaying that the page couldn't be openend bedause a secure connection couldn't be established. I had this problem before but it always could be solved by giving my permission to visit the page anyway. This doens't seem to help anymore and i keep getting the same message. I already changed the OSX firewall settings and gave the program itself permission to accept incoming traffic but it doesn't help. Does anyone know how to solve the issue?

If I type in the url manually I just get an other message saying the page cannot be openend because it is not possible to establish a connection to the server.

I see. Then you need someone with MacOS knowledge; I only know Linux, and bit of Windows.

Simplest is to install another browse like Chrome or Firefox and then connect via that browser.
Then in the Config either disable HTTPS (in General page) or try to regenerate the certificates (first enable Advanced Settings and then click the refresh icon next to the path to the certificates). That might work.

Can also manually edit the sabnzbd.ini (see https://sabnzbd.org/wiki/advanced/directory-setup) and disable HTTPS there by shutting down sabnzbd and ghensetting https_enabled to 0.
