sabnzbd will not start up in mac

I downloaded the latest version of sabnzbd for my mac 10.13.4 and it will not start up. I tried deleting the program and still the same issue. I even tried deleting the program, shutting down my mac and rebooting and then re-downloading the program. But it doesn't load up. what can I do?
