Fetching error / DNS problem?

Running SABnzbd on windows server using python, on version 2.4.0-develop it seems.

Last couple of days I've been getting an error with lots of downloads, it will say something like (I'm translating from Swedish so might not be exact words in English):

WAIT XX SECONDS / Trying to fetch NZB from https://dognzb.cr/fetch/XXXXXX

I have never had this problem before. Some downloads do go through however, looking at it it looks like it may be fetches from nzb.su that works.

Looking at the dashboard I see the following errors:

Public IPv4 address: Connection failed!
Nameserver / DNS lookup: Connection failed!

Also under last warnings the following can be read:

2019-01-13 18:41:35 WARNING SABYenc module... NOT found! Expecting v3.3.2 - https://sabnzbd.org/sabyenc
2019-01-13 18:41:35 WARNING Module subprocessww missing. Expect problems with Unicoded file and directory names in downloads.

Tried searching the forums, thought it might be a DNS problem so I tried switching from my ISP to googles, however the dashboard still reports connection failed like above. Can't figure out what the problem is?

How can that happen on a Windows install of SABnzbd?
... Or is that still the install-from-source you had in 2013?

Indeed, please install SABnzbd the normal way via the installer!

Yes it's the install from source (though I think I redid it so it's from 2015). It's always ran without any problems so figured I'd just let it be.

So you suggest uninstalling and going for the win installer on windows server essentials 2012? Are there any cons to that?
Why was it recommended using the source instead of windows.exe to begin with, can't even remember what the purpose was. Automatic updates?

No automatic updates, so there's no real drawback against using the normal installer. It will greatly lower the CPU load on your device due to the new Sabyenc.
