Automatic Login Problem

Post by MikeMen »

I'm running SABNzbd version 2.3.8 on a windows 10 machine.

In the past, I set the loginID and password in settings and the program automatically logged in. It seems that this feature no longer works and when I attempt to open the program I am asked to enter the username and password. Until I do this, the program doesn't seem to be running in the background to service requests from Sonarr.

I checked the .ini file and the ID and pw are set correctly.

What is the secret sauce to make this work as it had?

Either I have misunderstood something, or you have. You set the password in the settings to make SABnzbd ask for a password, not to do the login automatically. If you don't want to be asked for a password you need to remove it from the settings.

Regarding Sonarr, SABnzbd is probably not starting automatically. When you click the icon to open it, it is started and then you get asked for a password. If you want to make it start when you log into Windows then use the search on the Windows taskbar to search for startup apps, open it and check that SABnzbd is there and enabled. If you want it to start without even logging in you have to follow this guide: ... ws-service
