I am new to the media center scene, and tried making my first media center with openelec. Worked pretty well but felt a bit restricted without any knowledge of linux, though I was surprised by how automated some features were. One addon included with openelec was sabnzbd-suite, which coordinates sabnzb, couchpotato, and sickbeard with 1 addon.
I have now switched over to windows and run xbmc, but noticed that xbmc does not include the sabnzb-suite addon. Is there a way I can obtain this addon from openelec (yes I know openelec is designed for linux and the code may be different) or is there an addon for xbmc, but given a different name for what I'm talking about? Thanks

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

On Windows you can just install those apps seperate, but you'll have to manually link them together.
