Hi There,
I am downloading files and when I look at the files to unzip or merge the parts, many of my downloads have parts that look like this;

`0bfc2f8be09d7a08080544b496ffac69` yEnc (001+261)
`0c3c4cd51cfabac316101be735122187` yEnc (001+261)
`0c8dfcdd413e4be6d5fc2b567c28b2be` yEnc (001+261)

and about 423 more just like this, if I use WinRar on one of the parts, I can see the filename of what I wanted to download and yet I am unable to unzip . unRar or merge all the parts due to the file names being this way.

Note that this doe snot happen on all downloads but it seems to be happening to about > 75% of them now.

Any suggestions?
Thanks

What version of SABnzbd are you on? 2.3.9?

Can you share the .NZB so that I can verify on my own SABnzbd?

Hmm, hard to find the nzb file but here is a link to one of them.

Let me know if you need the actual nzb file?

Thanks in advance.

Also, I right clicked on the file and saved it as-is, about 3Gb, and it is perfect and I can play it . Seems to me that if I can download the video directly, then the nzb should work... no?

We can't open that file because it's only for members. Can you share it some other way?

Searching on the name "Star Trek ...", I found two post, which I downloaded, and but were good: a .mkv extension, indeed with a random name, but no yEnc files. So all fine for me.

Did you ever resolve this? I have recently started getting the same thing. I manually installed sabyenc in case it was that. No difference.

Like you, I can manually download the "autounrar" file but sab just leaves me with a folder of yenc and other files.

I am having this same exact issue and would love someone helping me figure it out. I randomly chose an NZB that I can share to demonstrate this, but I can't get it to load here and have no photo hosting capability it seems. Basically I get a long list of successfully downloaded yEnc files which can not be glued, can not be decoded, and essentially just take up space. I am sure the file I wanted is in there but I can't figure out how to get the processing to work to actually see the file.
I also have no problem just downloading directing or Zipping with EasyNews for example. I am using the latest version of SABNZBD. I do not see how I can attach NZB here but I could email it. I could also share screenshots but I do not see how to add them here as pictures. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Can you post the nzb on pastebin, and post the URL (with spaces in it) here?

I thought I loaded this but it didn't go through. Here it is with spaces where slashes should be. When I run this through any one of a few file downloaders it will download a bunch of yEnc files but then can't process them.
h ps pastebin com FKniwAYW
The same post that I created the nzb from will download directly or by zip without any problems. This is happening at least 90% of the time when I use nzb.
Thanks

This shows what is in the "Complete" file of Sabnzbed

https pastebin com Xw3DfmL7

I get error in Filenameproblems stating "Can't find filename in: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.yEnc. It lists the same for each yEnc file.
Thanks

sander wrote: June 29th, 2020, 12:22 am https://pastebin.com/FKniwAYW ... works for me: the result is one .mkv. (FWIW I'm on SABnzbd 3)

BUT: the mkv plays badly in VLC.
No problems here with SAB3.

Yields a 790.5MiB properly titled mkv file, runtime is a bit over 11 minutes, 1920x1080@24fps video, 224kb/s audio.

Plays fine in mpv and VLC on Debian 10.4. ;)
