Hey.
I recently installed SABnzbd on a server and the setup is nearly complete. The only thing missing is to enable email notifications. It's running on a Ubuntu 20.04 OS. I am using smtp . gmail . com : 587 (had to add spaces so it wasnt seen as a link) and my gmail account to both send and receive the email. I am using 2-factor on my gmail and have therefor setup an app password for SABnzbd. When I try to send a test email it says the email has been sent, but I am not receiving it.
On the log from SABnzbd the only thing I can see is this: mai 12 13:38:57 Medieserver SABnzbd Usenet Client[20218]: 2020-05-12 13:38:57,527::INFO::[api:703] Sending test email
Any suggestions?

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

OK, good to hear. I've changed the subject to contain relevant info for google / others.
