Pause Queued items by default

Post by HGC12229 »

In previous versions of Sabnzbd I was able to make a change to some switch to cause all new Queue items to show up in a paused state even though Sabnzbd was set to no-pause. Is that still possible with version 3? Further testing shows that even though Sabnzbd is set to Paused, new items added to the Queue start downloading immediately. This does not seem right. I am looking for a configuration to allow me to control when Queued items start to download. Thanks for any assistance in this matter.

You can do this using the Categories settings, If you set the Priority to Paused for the Default category, all jobs will be paused by default.
SABnzbd still downloading while in paused sate sounds like some of your categories have the the Force priority.

It might also be a bug, so please let us know :)

Thanks for the quick response. This solved my problem.

Regarding the possible bug, I was wrong. If SAB is paused, new jobs will not start downloading with the exception of the internally generated TEST job
